Mazda Europe is present in more than 20 European countries and has more than 2500 employees. Their Belgian site in Willebroek is the logistic center for Europe and the central IT department. At Mazda; they have been using IBM Tivoli for years. “On the long run, this method was too limited for us because not all our machines could be registered and tested. We had to extend our compliancy to the machines. It was therefore our priority to look for a new IBM-solution.” says Johan van Parys – Service Delivery Manager at Mazda Europe. After Mazda had determined their requirement, they began to compare IBM Tivoli and IBM QRadar SIEM. Johan Van Parys: “We have extensively analyzed both solutions and we have applied them to our necessary requirements. It soon became clear that the QRadar SIEM-solution was much more interesting for us in many ways. The necessary requirements that we set were achieved by QRadar.”
